 Scope of Practice Statement

As a Master of Social Work (MSW) professional, I offer temporary and short-term social work services in compliance with the scope of practice permitted in various states. I do not provide independent psychotherapy or clinical diagnosis unless licensed to do so. However, I am fully qualified to serve in settings that include hospitals, emergency departments, psychiatric units, substance use rehabilitation programs, and community-based organizations in roles such as:

• Social work intake and assessment
• Case management and discharge planning
• Behavioral health
• Substance use counseling
• Crisis intervention and psychosocial evaluations
• Patient advocacy and coordination of services

My services are well-suited to facilities seeking flexible staffing solutions to fill knowledge, skill, or availability gaps. I am available for placement in states that allow MSW-level professionals to practice without licensure under defined exemptions or within supervised or exempt settings (e.g., federal programs, licensed facilities, or non-clinical roles).

Services are tailored based on the setting (e.g., hospital, community agency, rehab center) and can be scheduled for the full duration of the employee’s leave.

Availability: 1–5 consecutive days per week

Contract Lengths: Up to 8 weeks per engagement

Travel-ready: We serve facilities across the U.S. in states that allow MSW-level practice without licensure

Rate: $75/hour, with overtime terms available
