Launching Fall Semester 2026
At Matos LeBron Consulting, we believe in the transformative power of education and the importance of giving back to the institutions that shape our leaders. Our founder and owner, Kareana Matos LeBron, MSW, has a rich academic journey:
• Santa Fe College: Earned an Associate degree, laying the foundation for her academic and professional pursuits.
• Florida A&M University (FAMU): Achieved a Bachelor’s degree, further honing her skills and dedication to social work.
• University of Alabama: Completed a Master’s degree in Social Work, solidifying her commitment to community service and excellence.
In recognition of the invaluable education and support received from these esteemed institutions, we are proud to introduce the Matos LeBron Consulting Student Grant Program. This initiative aims to provide financial assistance to deserving students from Santa Fe College, Florida A&M University, and the University of Alabama, reflecting our gratitude and commitment to fostering future leaders.
Eligibility: Open to students enrolled at Santa Fe College, Florida A&M University, and the University of Alabama.
Award Amount: Each selected recipient will receive $500 per semester for one academic year, totaling $1,000.
Application Period: The application portal opens every December for the upcoming Spring and Fall semesters.
Selection Process: Each year, one student from each institution will be chosen to receive the grant, supporting their educational expenses and academic journey.
Purpose: To assist with educational expenses such as textbooks, supplies, and other academic necessities.
The application process will commence in January 2026. Interested students are encouraged to prepare the following materials for the application:
• Personal Statement: A brief essay detailing your academic goals, community involvement, and how this grant will support your educational journey.
• Academic Transcript: An unofficial transcript showcasing your current academic standing.
• Recommendation Letter: A letter from a professor, mentor, or community leader attesting to your character and dedication.
